Employment Pool definition

Employment Pool means those employees of the City of Vancouver and the Board of Parks and Recreation of the City of Vancouver for whom the Union is the Bargaining Authority. Wherever the singular or masculine is used in this Agreement the same shall be deemed to include the plural or the feminine wherever the context so requires.
Employment Pool means those employees of the City of Vancouver and Board of Parks and Recreation of the City of Vancouver, Ray-Cam Cooperative Association, and Britannia Community Services Centre Society for whom the Union is the Bargaining Authority.
Employment Pool as used herein refers to laid off employees who await recall.

  • The County will establish a TET Employment Pool which will include the names of all laid off County employees.

Employment Pool. All certificated employees who are not recommended for retention in accordance with these procedures shall be terminated for employment and placed in an employment pool for possible reemployment. The individual's name will remain in the employment pool from the date of nonrenewal until July 1 of the school year following the school year in which the employee was non renewed.

It is understood and agreed between the Employer and the Union that the operation of Subsection (2) of Section of the Industrial Relations Act is hereby excluded from and shall not be applicable to this Agreement.

  • Post-Employment Period means the eighteen month period beginning on the date of termination of the Executive's employment with the Employer. If any covenant in this Section 8.2 is held to be unreasonable, arbitrary or against public policy, such covenant shall be considered to be divisible with respect to scope, time, and geographic area, and such lesser scope, time, or geographic area, or all of them as a court of competent jurisdiction may determine to be reasonable, not arbitrary, and not against public policy, shall be effective, binding, and enforceable against the Executive.   • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Employment outcome means, with respect to an eligible individual, entering, advancing in, or retaining full-time or part-time competitive integrated employment as defined in 34 CFR §361.5(c) (9) (including customized employment, self-employment, telecommuting, or business ownership), or supported employment as defined in 34 CFR §361.5(c) (53), that is consistent with an individual's unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice.   • Covered Executives means the Company’s current and former executive officers, as determined by the Administrator in accordance with the definition of executive officer set forth in Rule 10D-1 and the Listing Standards.
