Senior Qualified Positions. Promotions to positions enumerated in the Seniority Article of this Agreement shall be made by the selection of the senior qualified employee meeting the qualification standards established for that position.

Senior Qualified Positions. (a) In considering applicants for Senior Qualified positions, one of the requisites is the minimum years of experience as set out in the job specification. Before any consideration is given to seniority the supervisor responsible for making the selection must determine from the list of applicants, those employees who have the qualifications to do the job satisfactorily.
