Seniority Defined. (a) Seniority shall be defined as the length of the employee's continuous employment with the Employer, and shall accumulate, based on straight-time paid hours since the most recent date of employment with the Employer, including service prior to certification of the Union. (b) Straight-time paid hours shall include time spent on: (1) paid holidays; (2) paid vacation; (3) leave during which time an employee is in receipt of wage-loss benefits from the WCB pursuant to Sections 29 or 30 of the Workers Compensation Act in respect of a claim from this Employer.
