Sessions and Appointments. A standard psychotherapy session runs for fifty minutes. This allows times for writing progress notes, thinking about the just completed therapy session, returning phone calls, and taking a short break so that the Clinician is alert and ready for the next client. In the event the Client must cancel or reschedule a session, it is important that the Clinician be informed as soon as possible so that another client can use that time. The Clinic asks that the Client provide 24 hours notice of any cancellation or need to reschedule an appointment to a later date. In the event that unexpected circumstances prevent the client from giving 24 hours notice, the usual session fee will be charged.

This allows times for writing progress notes, thinking about the just completed therapy session, returning phone calls, and taking a short break so that the Therapist is alert and ready for the next client. In the event the Client must cancel or reschedule a session, it is important that the Therapist be informed as soon as possible so that another client can use that time. The Therapist asks that the Client provide 24-hour notice of any cancellation or need to reschedule an appointment for a later date. In the event that unexpected circumstances prevent the Client from giving 24-hour notice, the usual session fee will be charged. Insurance does not pay for missed sessions. So if 24 hours’ notice is not given by the Client, the Client agrees to pay the full insurance fee or agreed upon fee as delineated below.
Sessions and Appointments. Sessions last 90 minutes. Appointments are generally scheduled weekly unless other arrangements are made in advance. Your agreed upon time is held for you from one week or cycle to the next. If you neglect to keep your scheduled time without giving 24 hour notice, then all your future appointments will automatically be canceled. If you don’t schedule an appointment at the end of your appointment, then you are no longer considered a client and lose client privileges such as support.

  • Emergency Appointments Absence from work to attend emergency medical or dental appointments and medical appointments arising from a work related accident covered by Workers' Compensation, shall be paid for from the employee's accumulated sick leave.

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

  • Visiting Appointments A "visiting" appointment is one made to a person having appropriate professional qualifications but not expected to be available for more than a limited period, or to a person in a position which the University does not expect to be available for more than a limited period. A visiting appointment may be offered in single or multi-year appointments not to exceed a total of four (4) consecutive years.
