Short Term and Substitute Employment. 17.8.1 Regular employees who are laid off or whose hours are reduced shall be offered the opportunity to serve in short term and substitute positions in the classification in which they most recently served, and in other classifications for which they are qualified. This shall not affect their reemployment rights.
