SICK AND ACCIDENT COVER. 23.1 The Council will pay sick and accident insurance premiums to provide coverage for all employees for non-work related injuries and sickness. Where an Employee accesses compensatory payments for income protection pursuant to this Clause, all periods of absence shall not be counted towards service. However, absence on this Leave will not break service. As such, an employee shall not accrue Annual Leave and Personal Leave during this period however, accrual for Long Service Leave shall continue during the period claimed.

  • Sickness and Accident Insurance During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall pay the required premiums for each employee for sickness and accident insurance which will pay Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per week for a period of fifty-two (52) weeks. This benefit shall be payable from the thirty-first (31st) day of disability due to illness or injury.

  • Sickness and Accident If the Contractor’s Employees fall sick in the period during which they are engaged on the RLA, the UNDP shall not be responsible for arranging or paying for medical treatment and attention. The UNDP shall not be required to pay for the services of the Contractor’s Employees for any period that the Contractor’s Employees are incapacitated by sickness.   • Contractor’s Pollution Liability Insurance If specified in Schedule A, the Contractor shall maintain, or cause the Subcontractor doing such Work to maintain, Contractors Pollution Liability Insurance covering bodily injury and property damage.
