SICK DAY USAGE. The sick leave days may be taken by a bargaining unit member for the following reasons and subject to the following conditions: A. Sick leave shall be granted to an employee when he/she is incapacitated from the performance of his/her duties by personal illness, pregnancy, injury, or for medical, dental or optical examination or treatment. B. The bargaining unit member shall be granted a maximum of four (4) days of paid leave for illness in the immediate family. Immediate family shall be interpreted as spouse, parent, children, grandchildren, father and mother-in-law, and grandparents.
