Common use of Sick Days Clause in Contracts

Sick Days. Each administrator shall receive twelve (12) sick days per year, to accumulate at the rate of one (1) day per month, with unlimited accumulation. During the first five (5) years of employment in the District, should the administrator need to take a medical leave due to the birth of a newborn child of the employee or a serious health condition, as defined under the provisions of Family & Medical Leave Act of 1993, after exhausting any accumulated sick days, the administrator may use non-chargeable days up to a combined total of 45 for such health condition.
