Sick Leave and Personal Days. The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction shall receive no less than twelve (12) sick days leave annually, which shall be prorated. The unused portion of sick days, at the end of any year, shall be cumulative in accordance with the provisions of Title 18A-30.7. The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction is granted three (3) personal days each year. If any personal days are unused at the end of the year, they shall convert to sick days for the following year. The Board acknowledges and agrees that as of June 30, 2021, the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction earned and accrued one hundred sixty (160) sick days during the course of his employment as district supervisor and a member of the Lacey Township Administrators Association (LTASA). Upon retirement, the Board shall pay him the greater of the following:
