- Sick Leave Bank - Accrual. Xxxx leave shall be credited to the employee's sick leave bank for use as needed for full day absences. Twelve (12) days of medically unverified sick leave may be allowed each calendar year. The Employer may require medical verification when the employee is absent on sick leave for three (3) or more consecutive days and where the employee's use of sick leave appears systematic or patterned in cases of suspected fraudulent sick leave claims.
