- Sick Leave Bank - Accrual. All earned sick leave shall be credited to the employee's sick leave bank for use as needed. Twelve (12) days of medically unverified sick leave may be allowed each calendar year. However, the Employer may require medical verification in cases of suspected fraudulent sick leave claims including where the employee's use of sick leave appears systematic or patterned. Five (5) or more consecutive days of sick leave shall require an appropriate health care provider in attendance and verification of such attendance. The term in attendance shall include telephonically prescribed courses of treatment which are confirmed by a prescription or a written statement issued by an appropriate health care provider in attendance.

- Sick Leave Bank - Accrual. Each employee shall be entitled to an annual sick leave bank accrual. Sick leave is accrued on an hourly basis and computed at the rate of sixty-four (64) hours per year and may be accrued without limitation. The accrual factor per hour is .030651 and the accrual factor per full pay period is 2.
