Sick Leave Reimbursement. A teacher who is at least fifty-five (55) years of age and retires from the teaching profession and from District 204 will receive from the Board a reimbursement for up to two hundred and twenty-five (225) unused accumulated sick leave days at a rate of seventy-fivedollars ($75.00) per day, provided the teacher notifies the Superintendent in writing by April 1 of the school year in which he plans to retire. In the event of the death of the teacher, payment for unused accumulated sick leave days shall be paid at the above rate to the teacher’s beneficiary designated for the teacher’s life insurance policy provided by the Board under the provisions of the Agreement. The following are disqualified for eligibility for sick-leave payment:
