Sick/Personal. A. Employees will accrue 3.33 hours per month, to be utilized for sick-personal leave. Hours so accrued may not be taken until an employee has completed their probationary period. Personal leave may be taken with the approval of the supervisor, based on operating requirements. Approval of the supervisor will not be unreasonably withheld. At the beginning of each calendar year, an employee who has completed one (1) full year of continuous service, will be credited with forty (40) hours sick-personal leave. At the end of each calendar year amounts of unused sick-personal leave may be banked, up to a maximum of one hundred twenty (120) hours. Unused sick-personal leave that is not banked will be paid to the employee. The Company may require an employee absent due to non-occupational illness or injury to bring a physician's statement to use banked sick-personal leave.

Sick/Personal. Days Accumulated Beginning in 2012-2013. Beginning in the 2012- 2013 school year the District will contribute $125.00 per day for each unused sick/personal day. The District will also credit $750.00 per year to each individual’s health insurance in retirement account. Those teachers who have accumulated credit toward health insurance shall have that dollar amount added to their account based on the purchase cost of insurance for the 2004-2005 school years. All dollar amounts regarding the health insurance in retirement account shall be agreed to by the District and the Faculty Association. At the end of each school year, each individual shall be given a statement summarizing his or her health insurance in retirement account.

  • Personal medical leave, serious health condition leave, or serious injury or illness leave covered by family medical leave may be taken intermittently when certified as medically necessary. Employees must make reasonable efforts to schedule leave for planned medical treatment so as not to unduly disrupt the Employer’s operations.   • ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL For a period of one year commencing on the effective date of this Agreement, the Adviser and the Fund agree that the retention of (i) the chief executive officer, president, chief financial officer and secretary of the Adviser and (ii) each director, officer and employee of the Adviser or any of its Affiliates (as defined in the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended (the "1940 Act")) who serves as an officer of the Fund (each person referred to in (i) or (ii) hereinafter being referred to as an "Essential Person"), in his or her current capacities, is in the best interest of the Fund and the Fund's shareholders. In connection with the Adviser's acceptance of employment hereunder, the Adviser hereby agrees and covenants for itself and on behalf of its Affiliates that neither the Adviser nor any of its Affiliates shall make any material or significant personnel changes or replace or seek to replace any Essential Person or cause to be replaced any Essential Person, in each case without first informing the Board of Trustees of the Fund in a timely manner. In Addition, neither the Adviser nor any Affiliate of the Adviser shall change or seek to change or cause to be changed, in any material respect, the duties and responsibilities of any Essential Person, in each case without first informing the Board of Trustees of the Fund in a timely manner.

  • Employees; Independent Contractors During Executive's employment and the One Year Limitation Period, Executive will not, without Company's prior written consent, call upon, solicit, recruit, or assist others in calling upon, soliciting or recruiting any person who is or was an employee of Company during the One Year Restrictive Period.

  • Title to Personal Property Each of the Company and its subsidiaries has good and marketable title to, or have valid and marketable rights to lease or otherwise use, all items of personal property owned or leased (as applicable) by them, in each case free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, claims and defects and imperfections of title except those that (i) do not materially interfere with the use made and proposed to be made of such property by the Company and its subsidiaries or (ii) could not reasonably be expected, individually or in the aggregate, to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • Manager Personnel The Manager shall authorize and permit any of its directors, officers and employees who may be elected or appointed as Trustees or officers of the Trust to serve in the capacities in which they are elected or appointed. Services to be furnished by the Manager under this Agreement may be furnished through the medium of any of such directors, officers, or employees.

  • Hiring Customer agrees not to solicit, offer to employ, or enter into consultant relationships with any HP employee involved in the performance of services under this Agreement for 1 year after the date he or she ceases to perform such services. However, Customer may hire any such employee who responds to a general hiring program conducted in the ordinary course of business, and not specifically directed to HP employees.
