Social Functions. Exhibitors may not conduct social functions in the exhibit area or in public areas of the hotel during the conference unless approved by MSCA. Social functions shall be scheduled at a time which will not interfere with MSCA’s scheduled conference activities.

Social Functions. A “fraternity function” is defined as any event sponsored, organized, or hosted by the chapter that runs past 9:00 pm at which more than 50% of the chapter’s members are present and the number of guests matches or exceeds the number of brothers present (Tier II), and functions that also exceed 150 attendees and end after 12:00 am (Tier I). The following regulations apply to all fraternity functions, excluding all events hosted at a third-party venue licensed in accordance with Virginia law. Events before 9:00 pm are regulated by the IFC Bylaws (see Standards for Parties and Social Events).

Exhibitors may conduct social functions at the convention center only with the written approval of ICBA. Social Functions. 3.1 To the extent instructed by WORLD ATHLETICS, the LOC will be responsible for the costs of organising the following: 3.1.1 the hosting of a dinner prior to WORLD ATHLETICS’ Congress meeting for all members of the WORLD ATHLETICS FAMILY and other third parties designated by WORLD ATHLETICS up to a maximum of eight hundred (800) attendees. For the avoidance of doubt, WORLD ATHLETICS will bear the costs of catering of the WORLD ATHLETICS Congress dinner; and 3.1.2 the hosting of a final party at the end of the EVENT for all ATHLETES, team officials and members of the WORLD ATHLETICS FAMILY at the cost of the LOC.
