Social Insurance Number Referral Slip. Union Check-Off Authorization Form (where appli- cable) PAY OF LAY-OFF: In the event of lay-off, the Employer agrees to give a minimum of eight (8) hours' notice to the Union Office. No employee shall be laid off in the first four (4) hours of any working day. On any lay-off, the employee shall receive his wages in full within twenty-four (24) hours, excluding Satur- days, Sundays and Holidays. If not paid by the next regular pay day, he shall be paid four (4) hours' wages at his regular rate of pay for every working day from the date of lay-off. In addition to all monies owing him, the employee shall receive the following documents:
