Soft Maintenance by Operators. The Company will provide in-house training on Soft Maintenance for posted Operators in all departments, as required for the various jobs. As examples, Soft Maintenance may include: set-ups; change-overs; some component replace- ment; lubrication; preventative maintenance inspection, and adjustments. It is understood that the trades personnel will assist in the development, instruction and certification of Soft Maintenance skills. the Employees who successfully complete the in-house training and demonstrate the application of the new skills will be certi- fied as qualified “Soft Maintenance” Operators. The applica- tion of new skills will be determined by written practical tests. A training record will be maintained where the and trainee note and acknowledge the nature of ing certification. In the event an individual, who is newly posted, is unsuccess- ful in obtaining certification after the initial training, the Company, Union and individual employee will meet to devel- op a specific re-training plan. If the developed re-training plan is unsuccessful assisting the employee achieve by a date mutually agreed between the Company and the Union, the employee may be returned to their previous posting. It is understood that, in addition to current job skills, Soft Maintenance certification will be to Operators. The Company will provide training to an individual awarded with a posting under Article section Senior Preference for Advancement Procedure, in order that the employee has the opportunity to obtain certification. The Committee will establish a reasonable deadline for attainment of certification. It is understood that the Company intends to schedule posted Operators who hold their Soft Maintenance certification to assist the crew in overhauls of equipment. The Committee will participate in the con- tinued development, implementation and monitoring of job re- design training for Soft Maintenance.   • Planned Maintenance (a) Sellers may designate up to twenty (20) Days of Planned Maintenance on Sellers’ Facilities during each Contract Year. Sellers shall be entitled to reduce (including down to zero (0)) its Gas scheduling under Clause 8 and Exhibit 3 for each Day of Planned Maintenance.

  • System Maintenance The Trust understands that USBFS will perform periodic maintenance to the System(s), which may cause temporary service interruptions. To the extent possible, USBFS shall notify the Trust of all planned outages and will perform any necessary maintenance during non-business hours.

The City will bear no responsibility for the installation or maintenance of Customer’s equipment or for any damage to property as a result of any failure or malfunction thereof. The City shall not be liable, directly or indirectly for permitting or continuing to allow the interconnection of the Facility or for the acts or omissions of Customer or the failure or malfunction of any equipment of Customer that causes loss or injury, including death, to any party.

  • Project Maintenance The Local Government shall be responsible for maintenance of locally owned roads and locally owned facilities after completion of the work. The State shall be responsible for maintenance of the state highway system after completion of the work if the work was on the state highway system, unless otherwise provided for in existing maintenance agreements with the Local Government.

  • Equipment Maintenance If this Contract involves computer or telecommunications hardware or other mechanical or electrical Equipment (use of the word "Equipment" means all the foregoing) as a Deliverable, then, during the warranty period and during any period covered by annual maintenance, the Contractor will provide Equipment maintenance to keep the Equipment in or restore the Equipment to good working order. This maintenance will include preventative and remedial maintenance, installation of safety changes, and installation of engineering changes based upon the specific needs of the individual item of Equipment. This maintenance will also include the repair, replacement, or exchange deemed necessary to keep the Equipment in good working order. For purposes of this Contract, Equipment restored to good working condition means Equipment that performs in accordance with the manufacturer's published specifications. The Contractor will exert its best efforts to perform all fault isolation and problem determination attributed to the Equipment covered under this Contract. The following services are outside the scope of this Contract:

  • REPAIRS; MAINTENANCE The Owner hereby gives power to the Agent to supervise repairs, improvements, alterations, and decorations to the Property as well as purchase and pay bills for services and supplies. The Agent shall obtain prior approval of the Owner for all expenditures over $ for any single item. Prior approval for lesser amounts shall not be required for monthly or recurring operating charges or if emergency expenditures over the maximum are, in the Agent’s opinion, needed to protect the Property from damage, prevent injury to persons, avoid suspension of necessary services, avoid penalties or fines, or suspension of services to tenants required by a lease or rental agreement or by law, including, but not limited to, maintaining the Property in a condition fit for human habitation as required by applicable law.

  • Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance The Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of the BMPs as a part of its Bid. The Design Professional shall obtain the services of a qualified testing laboratory to inspect the BMPs in accordance with the permits, the costs of such inspections to be borne by the Owner. In the event of Abnormal Weather Conditions or force majeure, the Contractor shall be compensated for re-installation of BMPs at established Unit Prices.
