SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL LEAVE FOR HEALTH RELATED PERSONNEL. 646. Each regularly scheduled full-time or part time employee (excluding as needed employees) who works a minimum of 20 hours per week and who has served in one of the classifications enumerated below for more than ninety (90) days which requires a valid license or re-licensure, certification or re-certification or registration or re-registration, shall be allowed the necessary number of hours of educational leave with pay per re-licensure cycle to attend formally organized courses, institutes, workshops or classes that relate to the particular classifications' studies to fulfill the requirement.

  • Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund, one (1¢) cent per hour per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions.   • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:
