Spousal Union Leave a) After completion of one (1) year's continuous employment with the Alliance, an employee who gives the Employer at least five (5) days' notice shall be granted five (5) days’ leave with pay for the purpose of getting married or for declaring spousal Union.

Spousal Union Leave the completion of one (1) year's continuous employment and providing an employee gives the Gallery at least five (5) days' notice, the employee shall be granted five (5) days' leave with pay for the purpose of getting married or for declaring spousal union. The employee will provide either a marriage certificate or a sworn affidavit certifying to the spousal union for the purpose of crediting the employee with the five days leave with pay. An employee shall not be granted more than the aggregate of working days during the employee's career at the Gallery for this purpose. For an employee with less than two (2) years of continuous employment, in the event of termination of employment for reasons other than death or lay-off within six (6) months after the granting of this leave, an amount equal to the amount paid to the employee during the period of leave will be recovered by the Gallery fi-om any monies owed the employee.
Spousal Union Leave a) After completion of one (1) year's continuous employment with PSAC Holdings, an employee who gives the employer at least five (5) days' notice, shall be granted thirty five (35) hours spousal union leave with pay for the purpose of getting married or declaring spousal union.

  • Local Union Leave Upon written request, leave of absence without pay shall be granted to employees for Union business in accordance with the following provisions:

  • Marriage Leave A confirmed staff shall be granted 3 working days of paid marriage leave on the occasion of her first legal marriage. The leave has to be consumed within 1 year of her legal marriage.

  • Bereavement Leave With Pay For the purpose of this clause, the definition of immediate family will include the relatives of a common law spouse in the same manner as would be applied to the relatives of a spouse. For the purpose of this clause, immediate family is defined as father, mother, (or alternatively step-father, stepmother or xxxxxx parent), brother, sister, spouse, child, stepchild, or xxxx of the employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparents and other relatives permanently residing in the employee's household or with whom the employee permanently resides.
