STAFF APPRAISAL. 97.1 Where a system of staff appraisal does not currently exist at a workplace, the Employer may implement a performance appraisal process and the Employees will participate in that process, provided that:
97.1.1 the Employer first consults at the local level with staff and/or their union or other representative over a framework for the staff appraisal process it is seeking to introduce;
97.1.2 the staff appraisal process is not used as a disciplinary tool;
97.1.3 the staff appraisal process is intended to allow genuine feedback by both the Employer and Employee; and
97.1.4 the outcomes of the review are documented and confirmed and a written copy of the outcomes in given to the Employee;
97.2 The performance appraisal and staff development scheme for Employees classified under Part 3 of Schedule G of Section 3 is set out in clause 148 (Individual Performance Measures).
STAFF APPRAISAL. A. The parties recognize the importance and value of a procedure for evaluating the performance of both newly employed and experienced teachers for the purpose of identifying individual strengths and weaknesses and for improving the level of instruction in the school district. To this end, teachers shall be evaluated according to the SAU 16 Professional Development Master Plan.
B. All monitoring, observation, or evaluation of the work or performance of a teacher by the Principal shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher.
C. A teacher shall be given a copy of any observation report, in accordance with Board policy, within ten (10) school working days. Any areas of weakness shall be discussed with the teacher and specific assistance and recommendations shall be offered. Assistance shall be ongoing, and time for improvement, as determined by the Principal and the teacher, shall be provided along with recognition of those strengths noted in the evaluation.
D. The SAU 16 Professional Development Master Plan policy on teacher evaluation will remain in effect during the period of this Agreement, unless amended by the Board. The Association will be given the opportunity to participate in any contemplated changes of the appraisal process and/or instrument. Changes to the current SAU 16 Professional Development Master Plan policy may be made by the Board in order to meet the specific needs of the Brentwood School District.

31.2. The performance appraisal and staff development scheme for employees classified under Schedule C of this Agreement is set out in clause 81 (Individual Performance Measures).
PART 5 WORKING HOURS AND ALLOWANCES
STAFF APPRAISAL. 6.1 Appraisal Instrument: The Administration, Board, and the Federation shall determine the evaluation instrument which includes, but is not limited to, content, initiation of the appraisal process, the process itself, the number of appraisals, prior notice of appraisals, and the post appraisal conferences. The Board of Trustees has the final authority to change and modify the evaluation instrument, and determine the most effective manner and process to use when evaluating staff.
STAFF APPRAISAL. Where a system of staff appraisal does not currently exist at a workplace, the employer may implement and the biomedical engineers will participate in a performance appraisal process provided:
15.1 The employer first consults at the local level with Biomedical Engineers and/or their union representatives over a framework for staff appraisal process it is seeking to introduce;
15.2 The staff appraisal process is not used as a disciplinary tool;
15.3 The staff appraisal process is intended to allow genuine feedback by both employer and biomedical engineer;
15.4 The outcomes of the review are documents and confirmed and a written copy of the outcomes is given to the biomedical engineers.
STAFF APPRAISAL. Xxx has in place a staff appraisal process in relation to job performance. All staff are required to take part in the process.

STAFF APPRAISAL. Staff efficiency, abilities and conduct in the service are assessed annually against expected standards of conduct and set objectives. Cases of underperformance are appropriately addressed.
STAFF APPRAISAL. In relation to the performance of your duties you will be required to participate in an appraisal scheme approved by the Board of Governors and included in the Staff Handbook.
STAFF APPRAISAL. The University shall assess its employee’s performance annually through the current Performance Appraisal Review System. Any variation to the existing system shall be made in consultation and agreement with AUSPS.
