Staging and Storage. Areas - Contractor shall arrange and pay any associated costs for stage and storage areas. The City shall not be responsible for designating any staging and storage areas.
Staging and Storage. Owner may assign a place or places, where available, for the Developer to stage its operations and store tools and materials. The Developer will maintain such places in a neat, orderly condition, providing appropriate safeguards, and restoring such areas to their original condition. Security of all materials, equipment and tools, and the risk of loss associated therewith, are the sole responsibility of the Developer. Owner agrees that Developer, General Contractor and any subcontractors shall have reasonable, non-destructive access to and within the SCDHEC 30’ buffer and the NADC 25’ buffer in the performance of the Work.
Staging and Storage. Permittee shall not stage or store any equipment, materials, fuels, lubricants, solvents, or hazardous or toxic materials where they may enter a stream or lake, or where they have potential to enter a stream, lake, or other Waters of the State (e.g., through storm water runoff or percolation). Equipment shall be positioned over drip pans. Stationary heavy equipment shall have suitable containment to handle a catastrophic spill/leak.
Staging and Storage. Material will be stored only in the areas indicated on the Site Logistics Plan. Limited short-term staging areas will be designated in the Site Logistics Plan.
Staging and Storage. Staging and storage areas for equipment, materials, fuels, lubricants and solvents shall be located outside of the stream channel and banks. Stationary equipment such as motors, pumps, generators, compressors and welders, located adjacent to the stream, shall be positioned over drip-pans. Any equipment or vehicles driven and/or operated in proximity to the stream must be checked and maintained daily. Vehicles must be moved away from the stream prior to refueling and lubrication.
Staging and Storage. Staging and storage areas for equipment, materials, fuels, lubricants and solvents shall be located outside of the stream channel and banks, and away from riparian vegetation. Structures and associated materials not designed to withstand high seasonal flows shall be removed to areas above the ordinary high-water mark before such flows occur or at the end of the yearly work period, whichever occurs first.
Staging and Storage. 5.31.1. With the Project Manager’s approval, the Contractor may obtain sites of his/her choosing for equipment storage and/or materials stockpiling. The Contractor shall not occupy storage sites without prior written approval by the Project Manager. A list of such sites showing the proposed truck route for ingress and egress for each site shall be submitted to the Project Manager for approval at least five (5) days prior to intended use.
5.31.2. For all sites approved and used, Contractor shall be responsible for the following:
a) Obtaining prior written permission of the owner. A copy of this permission shall be provided to the City;
b) Keeping stockpiles and equipment confined within the approved area and in accordance with applicable erosion control requirements;
c) Providing security for materials and equipment at the site;
d) Providing for public safety at the site;
e) Keeping access roads clean and in good condition and in accordance to the City’s Erosion Control requirements; and
f) At Contractor’s sole cost expense, restoring the site to its original or better condition at the completion of the Work.
Staging and Storage. Material will be stored only in the areas indicated on the Site Logistics Plan (Tab 3, Project Manual). Staging and storage of materials and equipment within the Project site will be limited to those materials and equipment reasonable required for Construction Work to be performed based on crew size and lean production as determined by Design Builder’s superintendent in collaboration with the Program Manager. All material will be on pallets or carts with wheels for easy mobility. Pallets and generic cardboard boxes will be labeled with the responsible Subcontractor’s name. Any material or equipment found in excess of immediate needs and that is deemed as interfering with the progress of other trades will be required to be removed at the Subcontractor’s sole expense.
