Standby and on Call. A. At its discretion, the Department may select certain MOS with the expertise to adequately handle foreseeable emergencies and place them on an “on-call” or “standby” status. MOS may be issued pagers or mobile telephones for convenience and ease of contact while on-call and such time shall not necessarily be compensable time. However, if employees are required to remain at their residence or a department facility while on-call or on standby the MOS shall be compensated for actual time on-call at his or her regular rate of pay. Only MOS of the rank of captain or higher may be authorized to place MOS on standby. Should an MOS be placed on standby but is not issued a take-home vehicle, such MOS may be issued a take-home vehicle.

Standby and on Call a. Standby status is when an employee is on paid duty status and the employee is restricted by official order to a designated duty post ready to perform work.
Standby and on Call. Employees who are required to be available for emergency and/or breakdown work at any time are required to remain in communication; and must be paid standby allowance. These employees are termed "approved employees" and do not include those who have the allowance included in their salary by agreement between TransGrid and the relevant union(s). Standby allowance is $205.30 per week. Where an individual employee is required to remain on standby for 14 or more days in a calendar month they are then eligible for one additional payment of the Standby allowance.

Except upon an Event of Default, Xxxxxxx Mac shall not be subject to the control of Holders in any manner in the discharge of its responsibilities pursuant to this Agreement. Xxxxxxx Mac shall be under no obligation to appear in, prosecute or defend any legal action that is not incidental to its responsibilities under this Agreement and which in its opinion may involve it in any expense or liability. However, Xxxxxxx Mac may in its discretion undertake any such legal action which it may deem necessary or desirable in the interests of the Holders. In such event, the legal expenses and costs of such action shall be expenses and costs of Xxxxxxx Mac.

  • Errors and Omissions Insurance Errors and Omissions Insurance to be maintained by the Servicer in accordance with Section 3.13.

  • Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions The policies set forth in these requirements may provide coverage that contains deductibles or self- insured retention amounts. Such deductibles or self-insured retention shall not be applicable with respect to the policy limits provided to the City. Consultant shall be solely responsible for any such deductible or self-insured retention amount.

  • Fire and Extended Coverage Insurance Landlord agrees to keep in force policies of fire and extended coverage insurance which shall insure the Building against such perils or loss as Landlord may deem appropriate including vandalism and malicious mischief, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the replacement cost of the Building and the improvements installed by the Landlord. Pursuant to Paragraph 4 Tenant is obligated to pay Landlord it's proportionate share of any such costs. Landlord and Tenant hereby mutually release and discharge the other from loss or damage to the described Premises or the contents, including any improvements and betterments located in or on the described Premises, to the extent such loss or damage is insured by the described fire and extended coverage insurance. Both Landlord and Tenant agree to furnish the other a certificate of insurance evidencing the required fire and extended coverage insurance and giving the certificate holder thirty (30) days notice of intent to cancel, non-renew or amend such insurance. If Tenant elects to satisfy this condition by self insuring, it may do so provided it provides Landlord and Landlord's insurance agent with (1) documentation establishing values of Tenant installed fixtures, furnishings, equipment, inventory and process equipment or other material used in Tenant's operation; (2) provide Landlord with financial statements and other information evidencing Tenant's financial ability to maintain the Premises and contents as self insured and (3) that Landlord's attorney shall prepare an agreement regarding subrogation of claims in the event of a casualty loss of Tenant's fixtures, furnishings and/or inventory.

  • Errors and Omissions, Professional Liability or Malpractice Insurance Contractor may be required to carry errors and omissions, professional liability or malpractice insurance. All policies shall remain in force through the life of this Contract and shall be payable on a "per occurrence" basis unless County specifically consents to a "claims made" basis. The insurer shall supply County adequate proof of insurance and/or a certificate of insurance evidencing coverages and limits prior to commencement of work. Should any of the required insurance policies in this Contract be cancelled or non-renewed, it is the Contractor’s duty to notify the County immediately upon receipt of the notice of cancellation or non-renewal. If Contractor does not carry a required insurance coverage and/or does not meet the required limits, the coverage limits and deductibles shall be set forth on a waiver, Exhibit C, attached hereto. Failure to provide and maintain the insurance required by this Contract will constitute a material breach of this Contract. In addition to any other available remedies, County may suspend payment to the Contractor for any services provided during any time that insurance was not in effect and until such time as the Contractor provides adequate evidence that Contractor has obtained the required coverage.

  • Fidelity Bond The Master Servicer, at its expense, shall maintain in effect a blanket fidelity bond and an errors and omissions insurance policy, affording coverage with respect to all directors, officers, employees and other Persons acting on such Master Servicer’s behalf, and covering errors and omissions in the performance of the Master Servicer’s obligations hereunder. The errors and omissions insurance policy and the fidelity bond shall be in such form and amount generally acceptable for entities serving as master servicers or trustees.
