STE P 3. Should no settlement ensue within seven (7) calendar days of the serving of the written notice in Step 2, the grievance shall be referred to Local Union 2952 President and the Employer’s Grievance Committee who shall endeavour to settle the dispute.

STE P 3. If the grievance has not been settled under Step above, the may submit the matter to arbitration giving to the other party written notice within an additional period of fifteen (15) days. The matter may then be referred to a sole Arbitrator appointed by mutual consent or to an Arbitration Board of three (3) members, one appointed by the Union, one appointed by the and the third mutually agreed upon the other two. The third member shall act as should the two appointed members fail to agree upon a third he shall be appointed by the Minister of Labour for the Province of Scotia. The decision of the sole arbitrator, or the of the majority of the Arbitration Board shall be binding upon both parties.
