Step Progression Requirements. To progress to a higher step up to and including Step 15 on the wage scale set forth in this Article, the employee must provide evidence that the employee is in compliance with Medical Center policy with respect to the following: A. Completion of annual competency requirements. B. TB testing (if required for the position). C. Basic Life Support every second year (if required for the position). D. Maintenance of current licensure (if required for the position). E. Completion of department-specific skills lab. In addition, to progress to a higher step up to and including Step 11 (Step 12 effective the pay period following March 1, 2020) the employee must complete at least one thousand forty (1040) hours service since the last salary review date.
