Storage Materials Sample Clauses

Storage Materials. The storage material chosen to be implemented in the cold storage validation unit is CrodaTherm 5. It is a bio- based water insoluble organic phase change material (PCM) derived from plant-based feedstocks. The exact information on the type of materials, concentrations of the mixtures and the technical characteristics are difficultly accessible mainly due to that every manufacturer uses its own additives in the mixtures and that the mixtures are not disclosed due to confidentiality issues. According to “Phase-Change Materials for Vaccine Cold Chain Applications – Summary Report”, issued by PATH in December 20161, CrodaTherm 5 has no human health hazards but it is toxic to aquatic life, and must be disposed in accordance with local regulations. Finally, as indicated, the product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses, or the soil. According to the literature available, there is one main Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) study published and available which investigates the impact of a bio-based (wood-based) PCM included in a bio-based insulating panel2. The objective of this study is to analyze the environmental impact of a wood-based panel with PCM within the panel. The panel is installed in a wall of a building. This panel consists of three layers including a Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and a high-density fiberboard (HDF) panel, as well as a PCM, encapsulated within a plastic bag. The wood based PCM is translated within the inventory phase of the LCA as Fatty Acid (0.336 kg) which has a correspondence in the database used in the study. The following Table 2-1 reports the impact values of the PCM. Lauric acid and capric acid are PCMs with a low temperature latent heat storage owing to their low carbon chains and are used in building walls for energy storage purpose. Related to Storage Materials

  • Stored Materials The Department shall not be required to pay for materials stored at the site or stored at other locations absent prior written authorization to do so, which authorization may be withheld at the Department's sole discretion. If the Department expressly agrees to pay for materials stored at the site but not yet incorporated into the Work, the Application for Payment may also include a request for payment of the cost of such materials, if the materials have been delivered to the site, and suitably stored. Such requests shall be documented by appropriate invoices and bills of sale. Payment for stored materials shall be conditioned also on the Design-Builder’s representation that it has inspected the material and found it to be free from defect and otherwise in conformity with this Agreement, and on satisfactory evidence that the materials are insured under the builder’s risk policy. Further, if the Design-Builder requests the Department to allow payments for storage of materials offsite, the Design-Builder shall be required, inter alia, to agree to execution of proper documentation to afford the Department a secured interest in the materials upon payment.

  • Recycled Materials Xxxxxxx County encourages the use of products made of recycled materials and shall give preference in purchasing to products made of recycled materials if the products meet applicable specifications as to quantity and quality. Xxxxxxx County will be the sole judge in determining product preference application.

  • Customer Materials 12.1 The Supplier including any of its employees, agents, consultants, contractors and any third party shall:

  • Licensed Materials The materials that are the subject of this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A ("Licensed Materials").

  • Time and Materials If this contract is designated as a Time and Materials contract, invoicing and payment shall be as follows:

  • Storage of Materials Borrower shall cause all materials supplied for or intended to be utilized in the construction of the Improvements but not affixed to or incorporated into the Property to be stored on the Property or at such other location as may be approved by Lender in writing, with adequate safeguards to prevent loss, theft, damage or commingling with other materials not intended to be utilized in the construction of the Improvements.

  • Recyclable Materials “Recyclable Materials” means Solid Waste consisting of any material 371 which retains useful properties and can be reclaimed after the production or consumption process.

  • Instructional Materials A. The Board recognizes that appropriate texts, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, standard tests and questionnaires, computers, and similar materials are the tools of the teaching profession.

  • Course Materials The adoption of any course materials, print or electronic, after a Course Agreement is signed will require an agreed and signed addendum.

  • Training Materials Training Materials will be provided for each student. Training Materials may be used only for either (i) the individual student’s reference during Boeing provided training and for review thereafter or (ii) Customer’s provision of training to individuals directly employed by the Customer.
