Storms. If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: • The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area” and/or • A “mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area of residence for a vacationing guest. • The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area, we will refund: --Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered. --Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and --Any advanced rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the “Hurricane Warning” period. OR --No refunds will be given for storms.

Storms. No refunds will be given for storms unless home is inaccessible via local roadways or lack of power creates unsafe or unsanitary conditions. We recommend four-wheel drive if snow is in the forecast. If Guest is in the home and a snowstorm arrives, the Host will make every effort to remove snow in a timely manner.
Storms. No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.

Storms. TENANT agrees that LANDLORD has no obligation to install storm shutters and/or take measures to prevent wind, rain and/or other objects from entering the premises in the course or event of any act of nature (hereinafter “Storm”), and that LANDLORD has no duty to advise TENANT as to evacuations orders, potential or current Storms, safety measures, Storm-preparedness procedures, or Storm recovery resources. LANDLORD may, in its sole discretion, decide to install storm shutters and/or take measures to secure doors and/or windows, but a decision to take any such measures to secure the Property are not guarantees in any way that damage to the Property due to a Storm will be minimized or will not occur, and TENANT agrees to hold LANDLORD harmless for any damage to person and/or personal property due to LANDLORD’s decision regarding this matter. TENANT agrees to take Xxxxx preparedness actions, including placing inside all authorized and unauthorized objects from the Property which may become projectiles in a Storm, except that any item containing gasoline or other fuel shall not be stored inside but removed completely from the Property, and TENANT agrees that any injury to TENANT or damage to LANDLORD’s property, either real or personal, arising from Storm preparation are the sole responsibility of TENANT.

Storms. Covering, up to the limit established in the Specific Conditions, damages caused to the insured property as a result of: a) Typhoons, cyclones, tornados and any direct action of strong winds and the impact of objects thrown or projected by them (provided that their violence destroys or damages several well-constructed properties, objects or trees in a radius of 5 km around the insured assets) If in doubt, the Insured may prove, by way of a document issued by the nearest meteorological station, that at the time of the accident the winds reached an exceptional speed (a speed of over 100 km/hour) b) Fall of hail, provided that this atmospheric phenomenon causes damages to real estate within a radius of 5 kilometres surrounding the property insured, and the Insured may, in case of doubt, provide proof in the form of a document issued by the nearest meteorological station c) Flooding owing to rain or snow, provided that these atmospheric agents enter the insured real estate as a result of damage caused by the risks mentioned in a), on condition that said damage occurs within 48 hours of the partial destruction of the real estate insured d) Snowfall, where this occurs abnormally and the corresponding atmospheric disturbance cannot be considered, either owing to the time when the phenomenon occurs or owing to its intensity, as being characteristic of a given time of year or geographic locations which xxxxxx their occurrence. The abnormal nature of this atmospheric phenomenon will be verified through damages occurring as a result of the same cause in buildings located within a radius of 5 kilometres surrounding the insured property and, in case of doubt, the Insured can provide proof by way of a document issued by the nearest meteorological station. Sole Paragraph: Damages occurring within the 48 hours following the time when the insured property suffers the first damages are considered to constitute the same, single claim.
