STUDENT ALLOWANCE. C.1.1 The Applicant is to be paid an allowance at the rate of 70% of the salary paid to a Constable, Level 1.1, as prescribed in the Police Service Award-State, as varied from time to time, or any other Award or Agreement which rescinds or replaces the Police Service Award-State.

STUDENT ALLOWANCE. Host clubs will provide each hosted student with an allowance of not less than per month. 9. Orientation and Language Training: Inbound students will NOT be required to pay any costs for mandatory Rotary functions such as inbound orientation. However, if language training is necessary, then the student may be accountable for such training. 10. Visits: Visits by parents, relatives and friends of inbound students must be approved in advance and coordinated by the YEO of the host district. Such visits are never approved before the month of the exchange year, never during a holiday or other special day observed by the host community, and never during a period in which the student is scheduled for a Rotary event or activity. Students are not permitted to be absent from school to accompany a visiting family member or friend during a visit. 11. Group Activities: Approximately (number) group meetings are scheduled for inbound students each year. Participation is required unless an exception is made in advance by mutual agreement of the host club and the district youth exchange officer. There are no charges to students for participation in these meetings. 6. General Health: Students must be in good physical and mental health. For example, students with such serious psychological conditions as depression, anorexia or bulimia, and serious physical problems such as insulin-dependent diabetes may not be accepted. 7. Immunizations: Each inbound student must send or bring a complete and current immunization record signed by the student’s medical provider. This record must include dates of all doses of inoculations. If a student arrives without having had required immunizations, or if some required immunizations are not current, then such immunizations will be administered in the host community at the student’s expense. 12. Absence from School: Except for illness, absence from school must be approved by the student’s Rotary Counselor or their District YEO. 13.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Retirement Allowance Prior to issuing notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) in any classification(s), the Hospital will offer early-retirement allowance to a sufficient number of employees eligible for early retirement under HOOPP within the classification(s) in order of seniority, to the extent that the maximum number of employees within a classification who elect early retirement is equivalent to the number of employees within the classification(s) who would otherwise receive notice of layoff under article 9.08(a)(ii). An employee who elects an early retirement option shall receive, following completion of the last day of work, a retirement allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of service, plus a prorated amount for any additional partial year of service, to a maximum ceiling of fifty-two (52) weeks' salary.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • BEREAVEMENT ALLOWANCE 16.01 (a) The employer agrees to allow employees leave of absence, without loss of pay for five consecutive regular working days (calculated at straight time at the base hourly rate) in the event of the death of a parent, spouse or child, provided the time is required to look after funeral arrangements or family needs.

  • CAR ALLOWANCE The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.
