Student Conduct Standards. Dual enrollment students are expected to adhere to the policies and procedures, including attendance requirements, at the institution where the dual enrollment course is offered and to exhibit appropriate conduct at all times. Inappropriate and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in administrative withdrawal by the College and/or Board from college coursework. The College and Board shall consider the offending student ineligible for dual enrollment for one or more terms following the withdrawal action. The Board shall notify the College when an accelerated education student is expelled from the school district or expelled from the regular school program and assigned to an expulsion abeyance center. That student shall be considered ineligible for acceleration and shall be administratively withdrawn from all EFSC courses by the College. The student will remain ineligible for dual enrollment for one term following completion of the expulsion penalty or assignment to an abeyance center. Dual enrollment in EFSC courses may not be considered as an alternative or as an additional placement to the Abeyance Program during the expulsion period.

Student Conduct Standards. Center Director-established student conduct standards and disciplinary procedures must be used by the NTC staff as a basis for dealing with any significant student problem while in career technical training. To prevent injuries to students/instructors, NTC instructors have the authority to immediately suspend from class a student who has seriously and/or repeatedly violated safety/disciplinary rules or regulations. In these situations, NTC instructors must advise the Center Director of the action taken as soon as practicable. Further, NTC instructors must recommend to the Career Technical Training (CTT) Manager and Center Director the permanent removal of students from NTC trades who continue to disregard safety rules and procedures. NTC instructors must be part of the center’s process for determining the readmission of students to NTC classes.

In addition to the above, pursuant to Section 985.04, Florida Statutes, when a dual enrollment student of any age is taken into custody by a law enforcement officer for an offense that would have been a felony if committed by an adult, or a crime of violence, the Board Superintendent, or their designee, must notify the College’s Chief of Security within 1 business day after receiving the initial notification from law enforcement agency.

  • STUDENT CONDUCT Students are required to adhere to School District and College policies, procedures, and regulations regarding facilities and equipment usage and both School District and College codes of student conduct as well as the Alamo Colleges District Student Responsibility for Success Policy. All disciplinary action, including suspension and dismissal from the College, shall be in conformity with the Codes of student conduct of the Parties. All Students will be provided access to the Alamo Colleges District eCatalog, Student Code of Conduct, Student Handbook, and Title IX / Clery Act materials in the same manner as all other students enrolled in the College. For additional information on the College student conduct policies, please refer to the College’s Catalog at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/content.php?catoid=175&navoid=10909. In the event of a conflict between the policies of School District and College, the Parties will collaborate to resolve any conflict. The School District and the College will inform one another of complaints against a Student. The party which receives a complaint of non-academic misconduct may investigate the complaint and reach a decision on responsibility for violations of the applicable student code of conduct, but must notify the other party of sanctions before they are issued. Students who are in violation of policies and codes of conduct will, where appropriate, return to the School District’s high school, if any, and will not be allowed to return to any College facility. The Parties will cooperate fully with each other in any investigation involving student misconduct or conduct that threatens or potentially threatens the safety of others and the college campus. The Parties will cooperate fully with each other as necessary in all matters pertaining to complaints, grievances and appeals regarding student conduct issues. The definition of “cooperation” includes providing access to students or other persons who may be witnesses or persons with knowledge of relevant facts. Students may be sanctioned the same as other post-secondary College students and may be subject to exclusion from the College campus and College properties. The Alamo Colleges District board policy F.4.5 states that Students who violate federal or state statutes, the Student Code of Conduct, Alamo Colleges District policy, or other applicable requirements related to alcohol and drug use shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action. Such disciplinary action may include referral to drug and alcohol counseling or rehabilitation programs or student assistance programs, suspension, expulsion, and referral to appropriate law enforcement officials for prosecution.

  • Policies, Guidelines, Directives and Standards Either the Funder or the Ministry will give the HSP Notice of any amendments to the manuals, guidelines or policies identified in Schedule C. An amendment will be effective in accordance with the terms of the amendment. By signing a copy of this Agreement the HSP acknowledges that it has a copy of the documents identified in Schedule C.

  • Standards of Conduct Whenever the Member is required or permitted to make a decision, take or approve an action, or omit to do any of the foregoing, then the Member shall be entitled to consider only such interests and factors, including its own, as it desires, and shall have no duty or obligation to consider any other interests or factors whatsoever. To the extent that the Member has, at law or in equity, duties (including, without limitation, fiduciary duties) to the Company or other person bound by the terms of this Agreement, the Member acting in accordance with the Agreement shall not be liable to the Company or any such other person for its good faith reliance on the provisions of this Agreement. The provisions of this Agreement, to the extent that they restrict the duties of the Member otherwise existing at law or in equity, replace such other duties to the greatest extent permitted under applicable law.
