Student Thesis. In the event a college or graduate student is a part of Sub-recipient work on the Project contemplated by this PFA, and that student completes a thesis, dissertation, or report relating to this Project, solely as part of such student’s college or graduate course work submitted to the instructor or educational institution, and in no event for online publication, the student may utilize Subject Data, and/or WRF Intellectual Property.

Student Thesis. By way of exception to the Publication procedure set out in this Clause 10, any registered student of an RPO Party that is a third level academic institution may submit for a degree of that RPO Party a thesis based on any Foreground IP, the examination of such a thesis by examiners appointed by that RPO Party, or the deposit of such a thesis in a library of that RPO Party in accordance with the relevant procedures of that RPO Party strictly provided that no Confidential Information is included in such thesis or is disclosed to the examiners without the prior written agreement of the Party to whom that Confidential Information relates (such procedures to include provisions to place the thesis on restricted access within the RPO's library for a period not less than the term of confidentiality imposed by this Agreement). The RPO Party shall procure that the student shall follow its regulations for the submission of the thesis for examination and, in any event, that the student submits to the Work Package Parties in question a draft thesis at least 60 days prior to the date for submission for examination and the final draft at least 30 days prior to the date for submission for examination..
Student Thesis. If a Student Thesis contains Project IP and will be published or catalogued in a library, it will be a Proposed Publication subject to this clause 9. If such a Student Thesis will be examined prior to expiration of the Negotiation Period, the examiners must agree to the confidentiality obligations of clause 8.
Student Thesis. A Student Thesis that is proposed to be published in an academic journal shall be a Proposed Publication, and shall be dealt with in accordance with clauses 9.1 to 9.9.

Student Thesis. In the event a college or graduate student is employed by Contractor to work on the Project contemplated by this Agreement and that student completes a thesis, dissertation or report relating to this Project, solely for Educational Purposes, the student shall own the copyright in that thesis or report. In the event a portion of the Foundation’s Intellectual Property is included in that thesis or report, the Foundation hereby grants the student a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to utilize the Foundation’s Intellectual Property for the specific thesis or report only.

  • Student Discipline 1. The parties recognize that part of the teacher's responsibility is to maintain control and discipline of students. The Board further recognizes its responsibility to give support and assistance to the teacher with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom and school in accordance with established Board policies, administrative regulations, building procedures and state statutes; however, the Board shall not be obligated when any disciplinary actions employed by any teacher is contrary to law, Board policy, or administrative regulations. 2. The Board shall set all policies on matters of discipline. A team, minimally consisting of building administrators and teachers, shall develop disciplinary procedures for their respective buildings that are consistent with state statutes, Board policies, and administrative regulations. These disciplinary procedures shall be completed or updated and reviewed by each faculty prior to a date established by the principal. These shall be distributed to students, teachers, and parents no later than October 1 of each year, and it shall be the responsibility of the administration and teachers to enforce these policies, regulations, and procedures. 3. The District and Association shall work together to promote a safe work environment including the right to be free from violent behavior or threatening violent behavior. (2019) When an offense, persistent misbehavior, or the disruptive effect of misbehavior makes the continued presence of a student in the classroom intolerable, the student may be referred by the teacher to the principal or his/her designee for disciplinary action. In such case, an account of the problem or incident will be communicated as soon as feasibly possible, given instructional and safety responsibilities, by the teacher to the principal or his/her designee. The communication should include what previous corrective action, and/or parent communication if any, has been taken by the teacher. The principal or his/her designee shall communicate the disposition of the referral as soon as feasibly possible given administrative and safety responsibilities. In cases when the disruptive effect of the student’s behavior is so extreme as to preclude the instructional process, the teacher shall immediately communicate the need to remove the child temporarily from the classroom until such time as the student, teacher, and principal or other appropriate authority, resolves the situation.
