Submitting Schedules. Deans shall submit proposed schedules of classes, class meeting 35 times and faculty members to teach the classes to the office of instruction. Deans or 36 designee will consult with division faculty in preparing the proposed schedules. When 37 possible and prudent, any changes to the proposed schedules submitted by the divisions 38 will be referred to the faculty members involved before the schedules are finalized. The 39 publishing of an individual faculty member’s name in connection with a course in the 40 class schedule shall not constitute a contract with that individual. While the course 41 schedule is reasonably accurate at the time of printing, it is subject to change, if 42 necessary. 43

Related to Submitting Schedules

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • Teaching Schedule Teaching schedules shall be established, if practicable, so that the time between the beginning of the first assignment and the end of the last for any one day does not exceed eight (8) hours.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Alternative work schedule means an approved schedule for an Employee that deviates from the work week described in Section 1, Section 2, or a schedule that deviates from a worksite’s normal schedule. Employees who work a “shift work schedule” as part of a rotating group of individuals who must continuously maintain a 24-hour operation or facility are not eligible for an alternative work schedule.

  • Notice of Work Schedules (a) Work schedules for regular employees shall be posted at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the starting day of a new schedule.

  • Meeting Schedule Committees shall meet when necessary, but not more than once each calendar quarter, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

  • Alternative Schedules An employee may work an alternative work schedule with the written permission of the employee’s Department Manager. The alternative work schedule may be ended by the Department Manager and the employee’s schedule changed to a different alternative work schedule or the standard work schedule. The District may change the employees work period when an employee begins and/or ends working an alternative schedule. The alternative work schedules are listed in the table below.

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule is defined as having established working hours different from the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule, to be followed by an employee for an agreed upon period of time.

  • Working Schedule The hours and days of work of each employee shall be posted in an appropriate place at least two (2) weeks in advance.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V.

  • Regular Work Schedules The regular work schedule for overtime-eligible employees will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with two (2) consecutive calendar days off and starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee.
