Regular Work Schedules. The regular work schedule for overtime-eligible employees will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with two (2) consecutive calendar days off and starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee.
Regular Work Schedules. The regular work schedule for full-time overtime-eligible employees will consist of five (5) consecutive and uniformly scheduled days of eight (8) hours of work in a seven (7) day period. Uniformly scheduled means a daily repetition of the same working hours and weekly repetition of the same working days. The University will determine the starting and ending times and work days based on the requirements of the position and operational needs. The University may change the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee as described in Sub-section B below.

Regular Work Schedules. 121. a. Unless otherwise provided a regular workday is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. A regular workweek is a tour of duty of five (5) consecutive workdays within a seven (7) day period.

An employee may request different starting and ending times. Except Washington State Patrol (WSP), the regular work schedule will normally include two (2) consecutive scheduled days off. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee as defined in this Article. If the Employer extends an employee’s daily work schedule by more than two (2) hours on any given day, the Employer will not adjust another workday or the employee’s workweek to avoid the payment of overtime or accrual of compensatory time. This provision will not apply:
1. When an employee requests to adjust their hours within the workweek and works no more than forty (40) hours within that workweek; or
2. To those positions that have an inherent, business, or seasonal need for flexibility to adjust their daily work schedules within the regular workweek to accomplish assigned job duties and responsibilities. When adjusting an employee’s work schedule, the Employer will consider an employee’s preference as long as the agency can meet business and customer service needs and without causing an additional cost to the agency.
Regular Work Schedules. Other than those on call, each employee will have a regular, assigned work schedule. The regular work schedule for employees covered by this Agreement will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The regular work schedule will include two (2) consecutive scheduled days off.

2. Work schedules of different numbers of hours may be established for employees, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state laws. Employees may request alternative work schedules, based on personal or family needs and such requests will be approved by the Employer, subject to IHME needs. The Employer will consider employees’ personal and family needs.
3. Employees will be allowed to work alternative schedules, as long as fifty percent (50%) of their typical workday falls within the operating hours. Other arrangements are allowable with final agreement of the supervisor and Human Resources.
Regular Work Schedules. 140. Compensation fixed herein on a per diem basis are for a normal eight (8) hour work day; and on a bi-weekly basis for a bi-weekly period of service consisting of regular work schedules.
