Teaching Schedule. Teaching schedules shall be established, if practicable, so that the time between the beginning of the first assignment and the end of the last for any one day does not exceed eight (8) hours.

Teaching Schedule. If significant changes are made in the teaching schedule, AXIS and CEPROMUP have to be informed and have to approve the changes before they come into force.
Teaching Schedule. During a work day, full-time teachers of record will have 4 periods of instruction and 1 period of conference/preparation time. Conference/preparation time may only be used for GPA-related activities.
Teaching Schedule. The Department Chair shall prepare a draft of faculty teaching schedules, based on curricular and student needs, in consultation with faculty members. Faculty schedules shall be reviewed and approved by their immediate supervisor subject to the following:
1. A typical faculty teaching schedule will not exceed three (3) preparations per semester. Faculty members and immediate supervisors may mutually agree for a faculty member to exceed three (3) preparations.
2. Faculty shall teach a minimum of six (6) contact hours of their required load per semester in a face-to-face format. Any exceptions will be mutually agreed upon by the faculty member and their immediate supervisor.
3. The immediate supervisor shall give full-time faculty initial preference regarding the selection of courses and schedules. Assignments shall be distributed as equitably as practical among full-time faculty who express an interest and are equally qualified to teach the course(s) offered.
4. The typical work week for library faculty shall consist of thirty-five (35) hours per week or seventy (70) hours per two (2) weeks.
5. Faculty members shall consult with their immediate supervisor to resolve scheduling conflicts.
Teaching Schedule. (1) Days. Faculty members may be scheduled to teach five (5) days each week within the limits of the academic calendar. Saturday and/or Sunday assignments shall be arranged only with the written consent of the Faculty member.

Scheduled hours for all employees shall not normally exceed 140 forty hours per week. Time shall be allowed within the normal working day for 141 research, creative activities, teaching, or other activities required of the 142 employee, when a part of the assigned duties. Supervisors are encouraged to 143 make appropriate adjustments in the timing and number of scheduled hours in 144 recognition of evening, night, and weekend assignments, and for periods when an 145 employee is on call. Evenings, nights, and weekends when an employee is on call 146 shall be considered in making other duty assignments. See Article 17, Leaves, 147 regarding schedule adjustment for holiday assignment.
Teaching Schedule. Departmental faculty may choose to establish a department scheduling committee that shall develop recommendations to the department chair on teaching schedules. Facul- ty members shall be consulted concerning the creation of faculty schedules. Consultation means that before the creation of class schedules, each faculty member shall be allowed to submit his/her re- quests for teaching assignments, including desired courses and preferred time of courses. A copy of the department’s semester schedule shall be distributed to departmental faculty before its submission to the xxxx. Assignments are subject to change subsequent to submission to the xxxx. Faculty shall be informed promptly if any schedule changes are made.
