Summer Teaching Salary. Summer salary for full-time faculty is based on $1,500 per teaching credit hour for up to eight credit hours or two courses per summer session (the lesser teaching credits of the two). Teaching credit hours in excess of eight or two courses per summer session are paid at the appropriate part time rate although overloads are discouraged and subject to administrative review. Courses with enrolments below 10 students are subject to administrative review and may be either cancelled or the salary may be prorated. Courses enrolled above capacity are also subject to administrative review and additional compensation and/or teaching support shall be awarded as stated in the Low Enrolled and Over Enrolled Courses at Article 6.5.

Summer Teaching Salary. ‌ Members covered by this Agreement will be compensated for summer credit courses in accordance with Appendix B-4. The maximum load for faculty shall be twelve (12) equated hours for each summer term. If the assignment of a summer class causes the faculty member’s assignment to exceed twelve (12) equated hours, the overload summer assignment will not be made. Summer teaching assignments will be at the faculty member’s option, but will be offered to faculty covered by this agreement before they will be offered to faculty not covered by this Agreement through the second regularly scheduled class session in instances where a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Classes will be offered on an equal basis to faculty electing to teach summer school. For pay rate refer to the salary schedule in Appendix B-4.

  • Starting Salary All bargaining-unit positions will be hired at a starting salary commensurate with their experience. It is expected that those salaries will typically be within 20% of employees within that unit at a similar rank and/or experience level. In exceptional cases, bargaining-unit positions may be hired at a salary above that range contingent on extraordinary experience and extramural funding.

  • Employment Period Compensation In consideration of the other provisions of this Agreement, and the Executive’s agreement to execute a Release Agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit B, in the event of his termination under relevant circumstances pursuant to which he would be paid severance benefits, ESC shall provide the Executive with the following payments and benefits, both those set forth in this section and elsewhere in this Agreement:

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 110. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime pursuant to the provisions of Section III.E.2. 111. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Maximum Total Compensation Subsection 10.1 is amended to Increase Decrease the Maximum Total Compensation from $ to $ .

  • Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.

  • Sick Leave Bonus ‌ For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION [Not applicable in School District No. 62 (Sooke)]

  • Base Salary The Company shall pay to the Executive an annual base salary of $200,000, payable on a monthly basis commencing on the Effective Date (as the same may be adjusted herein, the “Base Salary”). The Base Salary shall be paid in accordance with the Company’s payroll policies.

  • Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.
