Summoned for jury duty. An employee summoned for jury duty and who is required to lose more than three (3) working days time from his assignment as a result thereof shall be paid for actual time lost excluding the first three e based on hours at the straight-time rate applicable to the service last performed, less the amount allowed him for jury duty for each such day (excluding allowances paid by the court for meals, lodging and transportation), subject to the following requirements and limitations: Statement From the Court: An employee must furnish the Company with a statement from the court of jury allowances paid and the days on which the jury duty was performed.

The employee is to notify his supervisor as soon as possible after receipt of notice of selection for jury duty. The employee will come to work during those regularly scheduled hours that he is not requiredto attend at court.
