Superintendent of Special Education or Director of Special Education shall seek qualified volunteers to conduct in-person student assessments. 1.3.1 Bargaining unit members shall be paid $90 per hour to conduct in-person assessments, report writing, and IEP during times other than synchronous instructional time as preapproved by Assistant Superintendent of Special Education or Director of Special Education. 1.3.2 Qualified unit member volunteers shall first be sought from the student’s school of registration and attendance. If none are available, District shall select from a list of qualified volunteers ranked by seniority. District shall select volunteers by descending order of seniority until they reach the final volunteer and then will proceed to the beginning of the list as needed 1.3.3 If there are not enough qualified unit member volunteer assessors available to meet the District’s threshold of completing 20% of overdue assessments per month (62 overdue as of October 7, 2020): 1.3.3.1 Staff shall conduct non-initial assessments pursuant to a records review unless a parent requests in writing an in-person assessment. 1.3.3.2 District may seek outside contractors and/or retirees to conduct in-person assessments.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the district and shall be responsible for implementing Board policy. He shall organize the administrative and supervisory staff, and select, place, and transfer personnel with the concurrence of the Board. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.

  • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.9.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the Project Manager at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.9.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.9.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times.
