Supplemental Life Insurance Program Sample Clauses
Supplemental Life Insurance Program. Effective January 1, 2018, employees will have the option of enrolling in a supplemental life insurance program on the same terms and conditions as other City employees. The cost of those benefits will be paid 100% by the employee, but enrollment is completely optional.
Supplemental Life Insurance Program. Employees that elect to enroll in the districts health insurance program shall receive $2,000 of life insurance coverage. The District shall pay 25% of the premium cost of such insurance and the employee shall pay the remaining 75%. This benefit shall be provided to members of the negotiating unit who are employed not less than 30 hours per week for ten months per year.
Section 3. Personnel who had previously been employed for 30 hours per week but whose time decreased from the 30-hour work week in the new contract will still be covered by this plan. This does not apply to those who are not or never have been 30-hour employees.
