Suspension of Work Order. The Commissioner, in his/her sole discretion, reserves the right to suspend any or all activities under this contract, at any time, in the best interests of the State or Issuing Entity. In the event of such suspension, the contractor will be given a formal written notice outlining the particulars of such suspension. Examples of the reason for such suspension include, but are not limited to, a budget freeze on State spending, declaration of emergency, or other such circumstances. Upon issuance of such suspension of work, the Contractor is not to accept any purchase orders, as specified in the Suspension Order. Activity may resume at such time as the Commissioner issues a formal written notice authorizing a resumption of work.

Suspension of Work Order. The Owner may, at any time, order the Contractor in writing to defer, stop, slow down, suspend or interrupt all or any part of the Work for such period as the Owner may determine appropriate for its convenience. If any such written order Delays performance for an unreasonable period, the Owner will amend the Contract Documents to provide for a corresponding adjustment in Contract Time and/or Contract Price (excluding Fee under paragraph 11.11).

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.

However, the Executive agrees to undertake whatever domestic and worldwide travel is required by the Company. The Executive shall not be required or permitted to relocate without the mutual, written consent of the Executive and the Company.

  • Termination of Work Notwithstanding any other term of this Agreement, each of the parties shall be entitled at any time to terminate the Marine Spill Response Services, or any portion thereof, being provided under this Agreement in any given case by giving notice to the other. Upon such notice being provided, Applicable Response Organization shall cease to provide the Marine Spill Response Services or any portion thereof, and shall carry out any required demobilization activities, and Owner shall pay all outstanding Applicable Response Organization Fees and Taxes.
