Teaching Dossier. 19.6.1 A Teaching Dossier provides a record of a Member's teaching accomplishments, strengths and activities. It contains documents, statements, and materials that demonstrate the scope and quality of a CAS Member's teaching performance.
Teaching Dossier. The candidate may seek any additional written reviews. These signed letters shall all be compiled in the tenure file and identified as solicited reviews in the dossier.
Teaching Dossier. III.18.2.1 Each faculty member shall be encouraged to create a teaching dossier. Members being considered for tenure, are required to submit a teaching dossier as part of their file. In addition, members may submit teaching dossiers for consideration in cases of merit and/or promotion; the decision not to submit teaching-related materials in the form of a teaching dossier shall not be held against a member, however, the onus remains on the member to provide sufficient evidence in support of their application.
III.18.2.2 The contents of the teaching dossier shall include Student Course Evaluations, course content as set out in course syllabi, and a statement summarizing the faculty member’s teaching experience, including the number of new preparations assigned to the member. The following may also be included:
(a) reports on classroom visitations by peers;
(b) examples of graded written work, and grading patterns;
(c) instruments devised for evaluating student performance such as exams and assignments;
(d) information concerning supervision of honours and graduate students;
(e) any other information the member deems pertinent
Teaching Dossier. VII.12.1 Each faculty member shall be encouraged to create a teaching dossier. Members being considered for tenure/permanency, and those being considered for promotion on the basis of being highly regarded in teaching, are required to submit a teaching dossier as part of their file. In addition, members may submit teaching dossiers for consideration in cases promotion on bases other than teaching; the decision not to submit teaching- related materials in the form of a teaching dossier for such considerations, shall not be held against a member, however, the onus remains on the member to provide sufficient evidence in support of their application.
Teaching Dossier. Any other information the Faculty Member believes will be useful to the Review Committee.
Teaching Dossier. A Teaching Xxxxxxx provides a record of a Faculty Member’s teaching accomplishments, strengths and activities. It contains documents, statements, and materials that demonstrate the scope and quality of a Faculty Member’s teaching performance. Although student opinions provide important information about teaching performance, it is understood that such opinions do not in themselves constitute the sole basis of a teaching dossier.
Teaching Dossier. A summary of the scope and quality of the Faculty Member’s Teaching University: The University of Ontario Institute of Technology Wages: Regular salary earnings inclusive of any additional earnings and stipends
Teaching Dossier. Any other documentation including letters collected by the candidate.
