Common use of Temporary Duty Leave Clause in Contracts

Temporary Duty Leave. Any regular employee may be assigned to be temporarily absent from his/her regular duties and place of employment for the purpose of performing other educational services, including but not limited to participation in visiting committees for accreditation, school surveys, professional meetings, study courses, workshops. Such temporary assignments shall be at the discretion of the Superintendent or his/her designee. Employees will receive their regular pay and may be allowed expenses as provided by law and regulations of the Board. Such temporary duty shall be considered equal to the regular duties of the individual, and employees performing such assigned temporary duties shall be considered on duty elsewhere.
