Temporary Job Openings. Temporary job openings are defined as a job which is vacated due to vacation, illness, accident, authorized leave of absence or other similar reasons. Temporary job openings will be filled at the discretion of the Township by seniority with people from within the Bargaining Unit. Employees working within a temporary job opening shall receive a five (5%) percent wage increase for all time worked over thirty (30) days and must receive the prior approval of the Township Administrator.

Job openings that recur on a regular basis and that remain open more than six (6) months at a time shall not be filled at considered temporary job openings. The Employer shall provide a quarterly report to the discretion Local Union Secretary of all temporary job openings which shall include the name of the Township by seniority with people from within employee in the Bargaining Unit. Employees working within a position, the rate of pay for the position, the date the temporary job opening shall receive a five (5%) percent wage increase for all time worked over thirty (30) days employee was hired and must receive the prior approval of department in which the Township Administratortemporary position is located.
