Temporary Reassignment. The Company may temporarily reassign employees to other work such as may be necessary to avoid short layoff and/ or recall. Temporary Reassignment. The Company Section 1. In the event patient care needs require an employee to be temporarily reassigned to a unit which the employee is not regularly scheduled MFH shall first utilize qualified Pool RNs in the CND if they are in the house to fulfill this need. If this is not possible, MFH may temporarily reassign employees from other units within the CND to other work be reassigned to such as may a unit. MFH shall first seek volunteers for reassignment; if none are available then such reassignments shall be necessary on a rotational basis, beginning with the least senior employee.
Section 2. A temporarily reassigned employee will not be required to avoid short layoff and/ be a charge nurse.
Section 3. Except in case of emergency, no employee will be reassigned more than once per shift and no employee will be reassigned while on overtime, unless the employee agrees.
Section 4. An employee shall be notified of a reassignment to another unit during the first (1st) hour of his/her eight (8) hour shift. A nurse working, a twelve (12) hour shift will be notified of reassignment for the final four (4) hour or recall. Such (8) eight hour period of the shift at least one (1) hour prior to the time of reassignment should only be for two periods whether full or part days not to exceed twenty (20) working days if the reassignment is between 2 p.m. and provided:7 a.m.

1. Second, the supplemental pool staff shall be reassigned. If neither is possible, Crozer may temporarily then reassign employees from other units. Employees temporarily assigned to other work another unit will perform duties customarily performed by an RN. Temporary reassignment shall be rotated as equitably as possible. Temporary Reassignment. Temporary reassignment provides current employees with the opportunity to gain experience and job skills in the trades or in other occupational areas, which would provide career enhancement. The Company may temporarily reassign program is designed to enable non-trade employees to other work such as may be necessary assigned to avoid short layoff and/ skilled trade positions in the maintenance, grounds, and transportation departments. Additionally, the program provides employees currently working in the trades positions the opportunity to gain experience, which will enable them to be promoted or recalladvanced or cross trained in the maintenance, grounds and transportation departments. Such The positions which are available for temporary reassignment should in maintenance, grounds, transportation and warehouse departments are: equipment mechanic, equipment operator, gardener 1 and 2, grounds mechanic, operations/grounds technician, delivery driver, groundskeeper, delivery driver/warehouse person, heating/air conditioning mechanic, xxxxxxxxx, electrician, xxxxxxx, locksmith, painter, plumber, mobile maintenance technician, sprinkler repair person, and bus driver. Lastly, the program provides the opportunity for employees to gain experience in the custodial department positions of Custodian 2 and Custodial Crew Leader. Temporary reassignment in the custodial positions shall only be available to those employees who do not currently hold a permanent position in the classification to which they wish to be temporarily reassigned. The Union President shall be provided a copy of the temporary reassignment lists and shall be provided notice of any changes to the lists. If there is to be a substitute for two periods whether full or part days not to exceed more than twenty (20) working days in any of the positions covered by the temporary assignment program, that position is eligible for a person on a temporary reassignment. Further, any position covered by the program which has a substitute for ten (10) or more working days will be reviewed by Classified Personnel to determine the ending date of the substitute. If that date is determined to be more than fifteen (15) working days from the time the substitute assignment commenced, the position will be available for a person on temporary reassignment. Prior to opening a position for temporary reassignment, employees within the department (or in the case of Custodial positions, employees at the school site where the temporary vacancy occurs) will be offered the opportunity to fill the position on a temporary basis. If no employee is interested or qualified to fill the position, the position will be available for temporary reassignment from the appropriate list. In the case of Maintenance, Grounds, and provided:
(a) Transportation Departments, if an employee within the department fills the position, that employee’s position will be available for temporary reassignment. In the Committeepersons event the temporary reassignment requires a license and/or certificate to perform the work, the employee must possess such license or certificate to be eligible for the Zones (Districts) affect- ed are advised temporary reassignment. A list shall be established for each department containing the names of those individuals who have indicated an interest in writing prior to effective time of the temporary reassignment of the work conditions and in that department. (i) No employee will be declared surplus during the per- iod which another employee is Temporary assigned returned to his/her job classification or during a corresponding period of time following such regular assignment. A temporary assignment.

Temporary Reassignment. The Company 1. In the event patient care needs necessitate an employee to be temporarily reassigned to a unit other than that to which the affected employee is normally regularly scheduled, Crozer shall first utilize PRNs who regularly float to fulfill the need. Second, the supplemental pool staff shall be reassigned. If neither is possible, Crozer may temporarily then reassign employees from other units. Employees temporarily assigned to other work another unit will perform duties customarily performed by an RN. Temporary reassignment shall be rotated as equitably as possible. Temporary reassignments shall be equalized based upon each instance of reassignment regardless of the number of hours of such as may reassignment. CROZER shall keep a record of temporary reassignments including the name of the employee and date of reassignment.
2. Whenever possible, an employee transferred to a unit shall not be necessary required to avoid short layoff and/ or recallbe in charge.

6. If the period which another Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor decides that the employee who has been temporarily reassigned is not needed on the unit, the employee shall be returned to his or her unit immediately.
7. In the event that an employee is temporarily assigned to his/ her job classification and no reassignment will occur for a corresponding period of time following a surplus to not needed in the reassigned classification.
(f) when employees are surplus and employed in other classi- fications within the plant, upward or lateral reassignments will occur as follows:
(i) the senior employee within the Bay who has recall to the classification required will be given preference provided they are capable and available to perform the work assignment.
(ii) If there are no employees with recall within the Bay, senior employees who are capable and available to perform the work assignment within the program can be re-assigned for up to ten (10) working days.
(iii) Thereafternursing department, the most senior employee within the plant who has recall to that classification will be reassigned for up to twenty (20) working days.
(g) the Company agrees that it will not use temporary reassign- ment to circumvent the job posting and recall procedure. It is understood that the word “short” as used above shall be deemed to mean twenty (20) working days or less.
(h) in the event the reassignment is to a higher rated job, the senior personnel in the department affected will be given preference, unless otherwise indicated in (f) above.
(i) in the event of a downward reassignment to which there are employees surplus and employed in other classifica- tions within the plant, the reassignment will occur as fol- lows:
(i) No employee will be declared surplus offered the option of working her shift or of taking the day off as a paid leave day or without pay at the employee's option.
8. There shall be no pulling back to work during conference time, unless the per- iod which conference is canceled.
9. In the event CROZER requires an employee to be temporarily reassigned to another unit, the employee is Temporary assigned will be paid five dollars ($5.00) per hour in addition to his/her job classification the employee's applicable rate for the shift or during a corresponding period shifts of time following such temporary assignment.
