Common use of TERM OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

TERM OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. 1.01 This agreement, including appendices hereto unless altered by mutual consent of both Parties hereto, shall be in force and effect on date of June 12, 2023 up to and including September 30, 2024 and from year to year thereafter unless amended or terminated. Notification of desire to amend or terminate may be given in writing by either Party to the other Party during the period between sixty (60) and one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to its expiration. 1.02 Where notice is served by either Party to commence collective bargaining, this Collective Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until a new Collective Agreement has been executed. 1.03 In the event that any law passed by the Government of Alberta or Canada renders null and void any provisions of this Agreement, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement. 1.04 The Parties agree there will be no strikes or lockouts while this Collective Agreement is in effect.
