While all reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of clients, observers and their possessions, we the company GREAT COUNTRY SAFARI COMPANY t/a Van Zyl du Toit Safaris(Pty)Ltd accept no responsibility for any illness, accident or loss of whatsoever nature, arising during and after the safari. • Before Safari begins, clients are required to complete and sign a safari contract and a general information sheet. • All clients and observers are required to read and sign our indemnity form before the commencement of the safari. • All rates are quoted in US currency ($ - Dollar). • The client’s arrival and departure day will be considered a non-hunting day at $300.00 per client per day, observers at $300.00 each per day. • Any travelling day between provinces/hunting areas will be considered a hunting day. • Transportation by vehicle between provinces/hunting areas or photographic tours transfers is charged at $400.00 per vehicle each way. • Any client wishing to fly between areas is responsible for his own, his professional hunter and one skinners airfare. • Value added tax (VAT) of 14% at present, is payable on all daily rates and transportation only. • Trophy fees are exempt, as they are an export. VAT cannot be claimed back on the daily rates as it is for a service provided. • Any animal wounded will be paid in full: if blood, hair, bone or stomach fluid is found. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS: • A 50% deposit calculated on the total daily hunter and observer rate is required within 7 days from accepting a quotation in writing. • The balance of the daily rate and ground transportation is payable 90 days prior to the commencement of the safari. • If a safari is cancelled 180 days or more prior to the commencement of the safari, all payments made to date, less a 5% administrative fee, will be refunded.
