The balancing period in the Agreement is the period starting every gas day at 7:00 o’clock and ending the following day at 7:00 o’clock (from 5:00 to 5:00 UTC the next day in the winter period and from 4:00 to 4:00 UTC the next day in the summer period), during which the System user has to ensure that the natural gas quantity input into the transmission system matches the natural gas quantity offtaken from the transmission system.
