The Record of Employment certificates for Casual Occasional Teachers who experience termination of their assignment before the last teaching day in June will be issued on request. Long Term Occasional Teachers will receive the Record of Employment at the conclusion of their assignment, if requested, or if at the end of the school year, by July 15th following school closing. (a) Years of experience and category placement on the salary grid for a Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be on exactly the same basis as for a teacher covered by the Collective Agreement between the Board and the Teacher Local. Experience gained during the current school year will not be included in this determination. (b) Long Term assignments with the Board shall count as experience. One (1) month of teaching experience will be allowed for each eighteen (18) days of Long Term Occasional experience, pro- rated for part time assignments except when a full term (September 1 - December 31 or January 1 - June 30) is worked, in which case 4/10 or 6/10, whichever applies, will be granted the teacher as experience. (c) Effective September 1, 2010, casual occasional teaching will be recognized for grid placement for long term occasional assignments. The calculation of such experience will be limited to casual teaching experience earned with the Renfrew County District School Board commencing September 1, 2009.   • Statement of Employment An employer shall, in the event of termination of employment, provide upon request to the employee who has been terminated a written statement specifying the period of employment and the classification or type of work performed by the employee.

  • Transfer of Employees At least three (3) regular work days' notice shall be given to the Union and the employees before workers are transferred from one reporting headquarters to another reporting headquarters.   • EMPLOYEE FILES 10.01 A copy of any completed formal evaluation which is to be placed in an employee’s file shall be first reviewed with the employee. The employee shall initial such evaluation as having been read and shall have the opportunity to add her or his views to such evaluation prior to it being placed in her or his file. It is understood that such evaluations do not constitute disciplinary action by the Employer against the employee. Having provided a written request to the Director of Care, or her designate, an employee shall be entitled to her personnel file for the purpose of reviewing any evaluations or formal disciplinary notations contained therein, in the presence of the Director of Care, at a mutually agreeable time. 10.02 The Employer will accommodate reasonable requests for copies of performance appraisals and records of discipline in an employee's file. 10.03 Letters of discipline shall be removed from an employee's file eighteen (18) months following the receipt of such letters provided that the employee's disciplinary record has remained discipline free over the eighteen (18) months period. Leaves of absence in excess of thirty (30) continuous calendar days will not count towards the eighteen (18) months period noted above.

  • Employment of Employee (a) Except as provided in Sections 2(b), 2(c) and 2(d), nothing in this Agreement shall affect any right which Employee may otherwise have to terminate Employee's employment, nor shall anything in this Agreement affect any right which the Company may have to terminate Employee's employment at any time in any lawful manner. (b) In the event of a Potential Change in Control, to be entitled to receive the benefits provided by this Agreement, Employee will not voluntarily leave the employ of the Company, and will continue to perform Employee's regular duties and the services specified in the recitals of this Agreement until the Change in Control Date. Should Employee voluntarily terminate employment prior to the Change in Control Date, this Agreement shall lapse upon such termination and be of no further force or effect. (d) If Employee's employment is terminated by the Company prior to the Change in Control Date but on or after a Potential Change in Control Date, then the Company will provide to Employee the payments and benefits as provided in Sections 3 and 4 unless the Company reasonably demonstrates that Employee's termination of employment neither (i) was at the request of a third party who has taken steps reasonably calculated to effect a Change in Control nor (ii) arose in connection with or in anticipation of a Change in Control. Solely for purposes of determining the timing of payments and the provision of benefits in Sections 3 and 4 under the circumstances described in this Section 2(d), Employee's date of termination shall be deemed to be the Change in Control Date.

  • Termination of Employment Agreement As of the Effective Date, the Employment Agreement hereby is terminated in its entirety and shall no longer have any force or effect.
