Long Term Assignments. A member of ETFO employed by a board to fill a long-term assignment position that is a full year for that employee’s job class shall be eligible for the following sick leave credits during a board’s fiscal year, allocated at the commencement of the long-term assignment:

Long Term Assignments. When the Agency assigns a bargaining unit employee duties that have all the duties of the higher classification as reflected in the position’s Position Description, for more than three (3) successive twenty-four (24) hour shifts, the employee shall be paid at the first salary step in the assigned classification or five percent (5%) more than his/her current straight time salary rate, whichever is greater. The bargaining unit employee shall be compensated for all hours worked during the period of the assignment.
Long Term Assignments. If a substitute has worked for more than one hundred twenty (120) consecutive days on a defined schedule, the substitute will be eligible for the benefit provisions of this agreement (AVTECTA leave and holidays) retroactive to the first day of employment as a substitute. Eligibility for life and health insurance coverage shall begin on the first day following the completion of one hundred twenty (120) consecutive days. Nothing in the provision precludes management from identifying a substitute position as a long-term assignment at the time of creation in which case the employee will receive all benefits from the first day of employment. A substitute will be separated when the instructional assignment ends with no right of appeal. This action is not intended to reflect negatively on the substitute.
Long Term Assignments. 1. Definition A long-term Teacher-Teaching-On-Call assignment shall be defined as any documented pre-determined or indeterminate period of on-call teaching exceeding ten (10) consecutive days but less than three (3) months in the same assignment.
2. Posting of Long-Term Teacher-Teaching-On-Call Assignments Teaching positions not posted as temporary appointments pursuant to Article C.23 (Temporary Appointments), and that become vacant for a duration exceeding ten (10) days but less than three (3) months, shall be posted within the district and filled as a long-term Teacher-Teaching-On-Call assignment.
Long Term Assignments. 42 When filling a long-term assignment (anticipated to be 20 days or more), the District may: 1) elect to post the 43 position, 2) select from its applicant pool, 3) retain in the position a substitute who can provide continuity for 44 the program, or 4) fill the assignment from the substitute pool in the same manner as selection of daily job

Long Term Assignments. An employee who is required to undertake an assignment which requires the employee to be on travel status for more than 20 consecutive work days shall receive for all work days after 20 a pay supplement equal to 25% of step one of the employee’s current pay range, or 25% of Step 3 of the SA pay range for special agents at Step 3 or above. With respect to special agents at Steps 1 or 2, this supplement shall be 25% of their current step.
