Third Party Liens Clause Samples

The Third Party Liens clause establishes that neither party may allow any third party to place a lien or claim on the property, goods, or services involved in the agreement. In practice, this means that the parties must ensure that their contractors, suppliers, or other external entities do not have any legal right to seize or encumber the subject matter of the contract due to unpaid debts or obligations. This clause is essential for protecting the interests of both parties by preventing unexpected legal claims from third parties, thereby ensuring clear ownership and reducing the risk of disputes or interruptions to the contract's performance.
