Common use of Time Limit for Presenting Grievances Clause in Contracts

Time Limit for Presenting Grievances. No grievance need be considered by the Company or the Union unless presented within thirty (30) calendar days after the action or occurrence complained of last occurred. In no event shall the settlement of any grievances have retroactive effect more than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the initial presentation of the grievance.
