Time Limits Imposed on Grievances. (a) Should a grievance not be submitted within the various time limits specified in this Agreement, unless mutually extended, it shall be considered to have been settled or abandoned. (b) Time limits referred to in the grievance procedure and arbitration procedure may be extended only by mutual agreement if specified in writing. (c) The settlement of grievance in any of the steps of the grievance procedure shall prevent the grievance from being processed further. (d) All reference made to the number of work days or time limit in the different steps of the grievance procedure shall exclude Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays recognized in this agreement and shall be understood to mean the working days of administration at St. Andrew’s Residence (i.e. Monday - Friday).
