Tobacco & Alcohol. Illegal Drugs, Weapons Any possession, consumption, use or dealing of alcohol, illegal drugs and weapons on the school grounds or in view from the school grounds and in all areas concerning official school activities is strictly prohibited. With respect to tobacco, BIS is a smoke-free campus. Students may not consume or use tobacco products on school grounds and within the sight of school grounds. A student engaged in such an act may be suspended until a parental conference can be arranged. Repetition of such behaviour may result in expulsion.

If approved, the renter must provide proof of a valid liquor license at least thirty (30) days prior to the event date – or at another time prior to the event date as expressly approved by the school in writing. Reporting Accidents/Incidents All accidents/incidents, including the nature of the accident/incident and names and addresses of those involved, must be reported in writing to the school office no later than the second business day following the event. In addition, the school’s designated emergency contact should be called immediately in the event that police, fire, ambulance or other emergency services are called to the property by renter or his, her or its guests.

  • Alcohol Policy Residents are required to abide by all New York State and New York University regulations regarding the use of alcohol. In residence halls, persons under the age of 21 may not be in the presence of alcohol or alcoholic beverage containers. Students (including residents and non- residential students), and guests who are of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older) may possess and consume alcoholic beverages (referred herein “alcohol”) within NYU residence halls in accordance with the following:

  • SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY 6.6.1. Labor and Management are committed to providing employees with a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace.
