TRAFFIC TICKETS. The Employer shall not require employees to violate traffic laws or loading regulations. If it is proven that the Employer has violated this prohibition, the Employer shall pay for the related ticket or citation, provided that the employee has delivered or faxed that ticket or citation to the Employer’s head office within seventy-two (72) hours of its issuance.

If a driver shall be issued a traffic ticket or citation for parking violations made in accord with instructions from the Employer, the Employer shall be responsible for such citation. (b) Moving violations shall be the sole responsibility of the driver; i.e. speeding, failure to stop at traffic stop signals, improper traffic driving and reckless driving. (c) Employee shall advise the Employer immediately of any on-duty or off-duty tickets, charges and/or convictions, that may lead to any restriction of their current or anticipated requirements (i.e., PAL, ATC, Drivers License, Z endorsement, etc.). Failure to report the loss or suspension of said licenses or permits may result in immediate termination.

In the event the Employer receives a ‘camera’ based ticket (e.g. red light camera or photo radar) caused by one of its drivers, the driver will be responsible for the ticket. However, if additional fees are incurred because the Employer did not provide the ticket to the driver in a timely manner, the Employer will be responsible for the additional fees. Employees must immediately report the suspension of their Driver's License, for any reason.

Any parking ticket received by an employee, as a result of parking in a restricted area, and doing so of own accord, without approval from management, will be the responsibility of the employee. The company will not compel any driver to operate a vehicle in excess of the legal load limits. If a driver is stopped by the police or any scales, and is fined, the will pay such fines.
